  • How do I update the device's firmware?

    1. Open the APP and find the corresponding device in the device list.
    2. Click the setting button to enter the device setting interface.
    3. Click device Information to enter the device information interface.
    4. Click Firmware version detection and the device will automatically detect the latest version.
    5. Click "Upgrade" and the device will be automatically upgraded. During the upgrade, do not disconnect the power supply or the network to avoid the upgrade failure.

  • How can I avoid audio noise?

    Keep your device away from smartphones, PCs or other digital products, as they can cause interference.

  • The app is always saying “Failed to configure device network”.

    Reasons:
    1. Weak WIFI signal.
    2. WIFI name and password contain too many complex symbols.
    3. Select 5G band WIFI to connect to.

    Solution:
    1. Close to the router.
    2. Change the WIFI name and password without special symbols.
    3. Select 2.4G band WIFI connection.

  • The image is not very clear.

    Reasons:
    (1) The lens may be damaged
    (2) The ICR or sensor is not very clean
    (3) The lens focus is not good
    Solution:
    Check whether the lens is damaged or is not clean.

  • I changed the settings of the camera, but I cannot save the settings.

    Reset the camera and then reconfigure the camera.

  • How do I set up cloud storage?

    STEP 1: Click [Cloud] at the bottom of the main interface to enter the cloud storage interface and select the capacity to purchase.
    STEP 2: Click [+] to add a device and add the camera to the device list of the cloud disk.
    STEP 3: Click the [Settings] button corresponding to each device to enter the video mode selection interface, and set the video mode according to your needs.

  • How to delete my camera from the account?

    1. Open the APP and find the corresponding device in the device list.
    2. Click the delete button, then enter the password of the APP account and click OK to delete.

  • If my Wi-Fi password changes, what do I need to do?

    Restore the device to factory Settings and reconfigure the network.

  • How can I view the video recorded on my SD card?

    STEP 1: Enter the camera control interface, and click the [Replay] button to enter the video playback interface.
    STEP 2: Select the appropriate date and time in [SD Card] to play back the video.
    STEP 3: The video progress bar is blue, and the alarm video progress bar is red. Drag the progress bar to fast forward.

  • What's the smartphone system requirement for the ACESEE app?

    Both iOS and Android.

  • I have inserted a Micro SD card, but no video record are being stored.

    1. Open the APP and find the corresponding device in the device list.
    2. Click the setting button to enter the device setting interface.
    3. Click the device video setting to enter the video setting interface.
    4. Check whether the SD card is recognized by the device. If not, insert and remove the SD card.
    5. after formatting, please turn on the video switch, and then select the video resolution.

  • The camera cannot recognize the SD card.

    Reason:
    (1) The SD card is not initialized.
    (2) The SD card is faulty.
    (3) The SD card slot is damaged.
    Solutions:
    (1) Insert the SD card into the SD card slot, then format the SD card using the ACESEE app.
    (2) Try the SD card on a PC, smartphone or other device, and check whether the SD card is damaged. If it does not work, please try a new SD card.

  • How do I share my device with family and friends?

    STEP 1: Click [Share] on the corresponding device page of the APP.
    STEP 2: Enter your friend's phone number or email address.
    STEP 3: Your friend accepts the invitation. (The search channel of invitation message: [My] → [My message] in the lower right corner of the main interface of your friends’ APP)
    STEP 4: Enter your device account and password.

  • Why do I receive the alarm notification without the ring tone?

    The alarm notification ring tone is as same as the ring tone mode of your smartphone (including calls, SMS and other notifications). Please ensure the smartphone notification mode is set to "Sound", and not "Mute" or "Silent".

  • How do I receive alarm messages?

    STEP 1: Click [Settings] to enter the setting interface of the camera.
    STEP 2: Select [Alarm] to enter the interface of Alarm setting.
    STEP 3: Open the [Alarm On] button, set the Alarm sound, etc.

  • How do you modify the device's photo/name/channel name/password in the ACESEE app?

    1. Open the APP and find the corresponding device in the device list.
    2. Click the setting button to enter the device setting interface.
    3. Tap device Information to enter the device information interface.
    4. Click device details to modify the device name.
    5. Click Modify Access Password to change the password of the device.

  • I am unable to access my camera remotely.

    1. Check whether the camera is connected to the network and whether the connection status of the cameras is online.
    2. Check whether the network connection of the router is normal.
    3. Check whether the network of the mobile phone is normal.

  • The camera disconnects frequently because the connection is not stable.

    Reasons:
    (1) The camera is too far away from your Wi-Fi router/access point, or there are too many obstacles between your router and camera, which impacts the signal.
    (2) There are too many other devices connected to your Wi-Fi, and they're using too much bandwidth.
    (3) There are too many other Wi-Fi signals nearby, which will cause a lot of interference.
    (4) The upload bandwidth is not enough.
    Solutions:
    (1) Put your smartphone next to your camera, and check the Wi-Fi signal.
    (2) Please check with your internet service provider to see if your bandwidth is high enough. Also, check other applications and devices that are using the same network - are they slow as well?
    (3) Change the Wi-Fi channel of your router to decrease Wi-Fi interference.

  • When the power adapter is connected, the light doesn’t light up; or the light lights up but the device failed to boot up.

    Reasons:
    (1) The power adapter does not work, or the voltage/current of the power adapter does not fit the device.
    (2) The electrical circuit of the device has an issue.
    Solutions:
    (1) Check whether the power adapter is the factory default one, and check voltage/current of the power adapter.
    (2) Try another adapter, and check whether the device can boot up.
    (3) If you've confirmed that the power adapter is ok but still failed to boot up, the device may be faulty.

  • How many devices can you have on one ACESEE account?

    There is no limit to add devices.

  • Where can I download the ACESEE app?

    Method 1: Search for "ACESEE" in the Apple Store or Google Play and download it.
